All vessels are formed on the potters wheel.
Vases are partially dried, trimmed after which various
tools are used to impress lines and shapes into the
surface creating a spontaneous graphic design.
Detailed painting with Terra sigilatta sets off the
individual elements of the design. After the
first firing a black copper wash is applied to entire
surface. When dried the copper wash is wiped
off leaving the copper only in the recessed
areas. Earthenware clay.
